Cycling# ##运动健身 #Riding 318, the usual route starts from Chengdu and follows National Highway G318 to Lhasa. The total distance is 2160 km.
The G318 route is a very well-developed route. Suitable for beginners with some riding experience. You can choose the time to complete the ride based on your riding ability
Regular version—25 days
Trip Overview: 23 days cycling, 2 days of rest; On average, you cycle 100 km a day, and you can rest for one or two hours at noon (not available on special routes requiring travel). Passing scenic spots is usually enough time for photos and check-ins;
Suitable for: Beginner riders with long-distance cycling experience; Or beginners who have long exercised and have good stamina, often ride bikes;
Casual version—30 days
Itinerary Overview: 26 days of cycling, 4 days of rest; On average, I cycle 80km a day, mostly half riding and half leisure (if special sections require climbing or rushing, it can be a bit tough);
Suitable for: Ideal for cycling focused on sightseeing and scenic viewing
Note: You need to understand basic mountain bike riding knowledge (gear shifting,Shock absorption, point brakes, etc.); You also need basic car repair skills (tire repairs, training bars, etc.). If you have a pro to guide you, you can handle it~)
The entire route is about 100 km per day. It can be done in about 22 days. (Includes one of my completion certificates)

My certificate of completion
This was the gear I brought when I set out. Since it was a road bike, I chose to travel light, staying at hostels and eating out for the whole trip. Carry relatively little equipment. The picture below shows the equipment I am carrying. I'll talk about the specific gear next time. Covering everything would be too long

Regarding the journey: I departed from Jiangsu, took the train to Chengdu, and departed from Chengdu. Train seats (bicycles can be brought on the train)
Here's a secret tip: remove the front wheel, lower the seat cushion, put it on with a car bag or garbage bag, pack it up, and once the machine passes security, you can bring it on directly. Then place the train in the corridor connecting the train carriages. The same applies to high-speed trains, where you can bring them up.

Here's a cool photo of me setting off

My departure gear was simple: a tail bag, a beam bag, and then I set off

For travel, I personally divide it into light and heavy loads. Heavy gear means carrying tents, sleeping bags, and other supplies to stay outside. Traveling light means carrying essential supplies. Stay in close clothing and choose accommodation according to your own conditions.
I chose the hostel for the whole trip. As mentioned above, this is a very well-developed route, with accommodation, food, and drinks throughout the trip, so you basically don't need to worry too much. You can choose cycling stations like Xinlv or 57.
This is the accommodation environment at Zheduotang (this one is considered good). Because I wrote this pieceStrategyTime is too long. No photos found. This is a picture I found online. The hostel environment is basically three or four people per room. Then the price is set per shop, about fifty or sixty yuan.
At this price, don't be too demanding about the environment. If you have better conditions, you can stay at budget hotels, but the prices are relatively high.

Another important point is that you can check in your luggage at the stations for free. Traveling from your current station to the next station is free of charge. I remember the first few stations offer free check-in, while the later ones offer free baggage check-in. About ten yuan each, and I'll get you to the next station. But it's really convenient. It can save a lot of energy for beginners. Then comes the rescue process. If you have a flat tire or can't ride and can't fix it yourself, you can call the next station and have the owner drive you over

But this service only costs a few dozen yuan. But it can help you avoid sleeping on the streets [make one for me]—I've encountered it myself.
The photo below was taken together with a cycling buddy I met on the road.
Another important point is that cycling requires a lot of perseverance. You can choose to find a good buddy online in advance, but it's not recommended. Because everyone's fitness is different, the riding speed varies. You might be riding with him today, but the next day you'll find the rider gone—either ahead of you or behind. Many of the people who walked with me gave up and chose to go home.
Most likely, the buddies you meet on the road have similar stamina and can ride together. Emmm, that's roughly what it means.

I'll lay out the cycling route for you. This is an online image, roughly like this.
The entire route consists of 14 mountain passes, with two posters climbing over 5,000 meters, and a total climb of 26,000 meters. It's still quite a challenge.

Southern Route
The scenery along the way is beautiful. It's recommended to ride and enjoy the trip. Once you reach Litang, you can have some fun, then take a bus to Daocheng Yading.
The glaciers in Ranwuzhen are also beautiful, and the cover features photos taken there

Time is limited, so I'm introducing this for now (mainly because I'm too lazy to write, I'll see feedback and post next time).

)
Next, I'll post a few photos of the scenery along the way and my own handsome photos

The pictures are not posted in any order, since they're newMobile phonesThere aren't many photos. More photos will be posted next time
