After much anticipation, it finally came out. The used car I previously bought, the Xingtu Zhuifeng 1.6 Xingzun, received so many blessings and was deeply grateful. After picking it up, due to work and some issues with the car's transfer and registration procedures, I only had time to write about it these past couple of days. Thank you all for waiting!
Since I picked up the car in a different location, the whole process was personally intertwined, which took a very long time. Here, I'll share it in roughly three chapters, which are (1) car selection→ (2) car delivery→ and (3) registration.

1⃣️ Choose a car
(1) Preparation before vehicle selection
⚠️ We must determine the price range for buying a used car
This is important because most people doShoppingFor used cars, your budget keeps getting pushed up, and you might even look for zero-kilometer or brand new cars later. This is a major taboo when choosing a used car! Try to include the budget within the rounded range, such as 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, and so on. The 1-2k reserve fund must be included. If picking up the car from another location, you must include fuel and highway tolls (if the distance is too far, a flatbed truck is recommended, usually the highway mileage ×1.5).

(2) Decide on your vehicle model based on price
⚠️ If you can buy the top trim, go for it. We've already bought used cars, and the top trim isn't much more expensive, but the driving experience you get is a huge improvement! With the help of Doubao, you can overestimate your budget by about 10,000 yuan. For example, if you buy a car for 40,000 yuan, you can recommend it for under 50,000 yuan (because Doubao doesn't have an exact resale price and usually refers to second-hand platform prices).

Take my own Exeed Zhuifeng as an example: this car is unpopular and has a common problem of sunroof leaks. Plus, starting in June, gasoline cars are being phased out, so the price can drop below 40,000 RMB. However, the fuel consumption is relatively high: a 51-liter tank, and a full highway drive costs about 6.5-7 liters per 100 km, with stop-and-go city driving around 10-12 km
When buying a car, you must identify its common issues. Most importantly, what common issues the car has. Based on owners' user experiences, Dchedi, and various car owner feedback videos, you can basically figure out about seventy to eighty percent. This is very important and must be paid attention to
Japanese old Gulu Bangzi still holds higher value than domestic brands, but their market share is huge,LaterMaintenance costs will also be lower. For domestic brands, try to choose cars from established brands, preferably those that have passed annual inspections after 2019 or 2020
⚠️ Because of the vehicle inspection issue, buying a car priced at 19,000 or 20,000 yuan can save you one inspection fee. Don't underestimate this inspection—those who can't bear to press the accelerator pedal hard If you want peace of mind and fuel efficiency, buy a Japanese car. If you want a bit of a car experience, go for the long-established domestic brands. Also, if your budget is limited, you probably won't be able to buy a Japanese or foreign car with a similar yearThe path left for you is most likely to be domestically produced

(3) Start widely disseminating the network
Once we decide on a model, this car will basically be your future second wife. I've added at least ten Taoche, generally charging around 500-800 yuan. Because the number of followers varies, the car sources they have also vary. Very niche bloggers will have slightly lower prices because they rely on low prices to attract followers. Bigger bloggers post cars that are only slightly cheaper than dealers, and their arrogance is very high, so they might not even consider your budget

⚠️ Some used car bloggers deliberately post low-priced cars (prices that don't match market prices) to attract traffic. Be sure to distinguish the subject line—people in the used car industry are very savvy, so don't be fooled
Another example is the seafood market. Many vendors disguise themselves as individual car dealers. Be careful—just check the homepage and you'll get a rough idea. If it's all cars and over 60% of the car is a scammer, you don't need to look—it's definitely a dealer. Look at the descriptions of these cars—they're very detailed. Most likely, they're sincerely selling from individual sellers. If you lose a word or two and the condition is ambiguous, the car must have issues, and it's not a sincere sale
⚠️ Everyone must remember: personal sellers who truly want to sell their used cars must have a good attitude, clear information about the car's condition, and the third party will definitely not fear you inspecting it. If you want to pick up the car in another city, show your sincerity, politely tell the seller, then ask if a third party is allowed. If you don't go through the third party, you won't consider it (will you be afraid of teachers checking after you finish your homework?). Don't worry about their exaggeration; if you can't handle the third party, it's an accident car

Used cars on platforms like Guazi and D Car Di are priced inflated, only slightly better than dealers. There are very few individual sellers, making it like looking for a needle in a haystack. But the prices are negotiable and easy to close (provided you genuinely want their model).
If Taoche's and personal sellers really have no hope, you can only use platforms. If you pick up used cars in different locations, 🚫 never buy from out-of-town dealers!

The transaction order is roughly > personal car Taoche> platform car, > dealer car
The ease of mind is probably comparable to platform bikes> TaoCar > personal bikes> and dealer cars
When buying a used car, you must not rush; you can rely on waiting. Good cars are always behind you. If you rush, you might misjudge or get scammed. But if you need to drive during the New Year and don't need a car regularly, you can wait a bit longer and wait patiently

(4) About buying a car
When you see me pick up the car, you might think buying it is the right thing to do, but if not, I'll share a few heartfelt words with you
Buying the car is just the beginning; maintaining the car is where money really matters. For a used car priced between 10,000 and 40,000, damage is a matter of personal preference. The price for car damage is likely to be around 1,500-2,000 yuan. Even if you add 2,000,000 yuan per car and equal external medication insurance, plus driver accident insurance, excluding the damage, the total still comes to about 1,500 yuan. If the previous owner agrees to pay for compulsory insurance, you can save a bit, but when it expires, you'll have to renew it for about 900 yuan. So even if you don't drive for a year, your insurance will be nearly 3,000 yuan, not including fuel and repair expenses (assuming 4,000 kilometers a year, fuel costs about 3,000 yuan, repair backup costs about 500-1,000 yuan). This way, your annual driving cost is directly at least 6,000 yuan, which means you have to pay 15 yuan a day!
